AndeSight™ standard version allows three types of license: Activation Code, Node-Lock License and Floating License. AndeSight™ mcu version allows two types of license: Activation Code and Node-Lock License. Activation Code: It is a serial number. It doesn’t bind MAC address, so it can be used in many computer. Only evaluation customer can obtain this kind of license. The valid period is three month. Node-Lock License：It is a license only used in one computer. It binds the MAC address of an Ethernet card. If the Node-Lock License used in other computer, the license check will fail. Customer who signed contract with Andes use Node-Lock License. The valid period is one year. Floating License: The license is installed in a license server, and other computer can set the IP of the server to check the license. The number of Floating License can more than one, such as 20 or 30 licenses. It means it allows 20 or 30 computers start Andesight at the same time. In general, students use Floating License. It is convenient to deploy license in a classroom. The Floating License also binds MAC address. |
